Alderman Boudewijn Revis (Stadsontwikkeling Kerngebieden) has launched a competition to challenge parties to develop innovative concepts for a plot in the Binckhorst, under the title: “Challenge Kavel 2: The Urban Lab.
Because of the extension of the Melkwegstraat in Bickhorsthaven there are three vacant lots available. For one of the plots (plot 2) Challenge Kavel 2: The Urban Lab is launched. With this challenge the municipality asks entrepreneurs to fill in Lot 2 with an innovative concept that fits within the Binckhorsthaven as Urban Lab, a place where knowledge and innovation are brought together. The best idea can win a maximum contribution of € 50 000, – to realize the concept.
