Pecha Kucha Night was founded in 2003, by architectural office Klein Dytham in Tokyo as an event for young designers to meet, to network and to show their work to the public. Meanwhile, it has become a global event held in about 260 cities, like New York, Buenos Aires, Shanghai, London and The Hague!
The Pecha Kucha (Japanese for twadddle) presentationconcept is based on a short but powerful presentationform. Each presentation is consists out of 20 slides, that are explained by the speaker in 20 seconds. This concept is based on a simple thought: a good idea doesn’t need much time to be told..
