With more than 20 activities at various locations in The Hague’s city centre, the Night of the Dictatorships is bigger than ever. In addition to Dutch-language activities, there is also a range of activities in English for an international audience:
- Lecture by Islam Qasem on ‘The Saudi-Iranian rivalry and the future of dictatorship and violence in the Middle East’ (ProDemos)
- A panel discussion on the International Criminal Court (ProDemos)
- Continuous screening of films and documentaries on dictatorships and freedom (ProDemos)
- Guided tours every half hour of the Prison Gate Museum

The Night of Dictatorship will be held from 20.00 hrs. to midnight on Saturday, 12 September at various venues including ProDemos and the Prison Gate Museum. Feature films screened at the Filmhuis on Thursday, 10 September and Friday, 11 September are Timbuktu (2014) and The Dictator (2014).
With an all-inclusive pass you have access to all the participating organisations in The Hague throughout the evening. Tickets cost € 10.00 in advance and € 12.50 on the night itself. Students pay € 7.50.
