Huygens Engineers, with offices in Hengelo and The Hague, delivers full-service external R&D in the fields of functional design, (precision) mechanics and electrical design.

We can start at specification definition and finish with comprehensive testing of prototypes while validating physical principles on the way. We work as an extension or as a replacement of an internal R&D department for OEMs.

Huygens Engineers has a cluster of customers around the theme of energy conversion in fluids: wind turbines, tidal turbines and ship-propulsion systems, where we design cooling-critical and fatigue critical components and mission-critical solutions.

The second cluster of customers is to be found in the food & pharmaceutical industry, where we design precise and functionally demanding components.
